Live Scan Fingerprinting
Feb 4th 9:30am-12:30pm @ Jonas Salk Elementary
A new state law (AB-506) requires all Employees, Administrators, and Regular Volunteers who meet the definition of “Mandated Reporter” and “Regular Volunteer” under AB-506, to complete a background check and Live Scan fingerprinting. What this means is that we need every volunteer (over the age of 18) that works with children and youth to be fingerprinted and background checked for the safety of our children. Volunteers under the age of 18 do not need to be fingerprinted or background checked.
Please contact a registered live scan fingerprinting service. This is a list of state approved live scan fingerprinting services in California. https://oag.ca.gov/fingerprints/locations?county=San%20Diego. The one we’ve used in the past is https://livescanfingerprintingsd.com/.
You will need to make an appointment to be live scan fingerprinted there.
We need you to do these THREE steps:
Step 1: Print and fill out Live Scan Request Form.
Step 2: Print, fill out Background Check Consent Form and give it to Pastor Daniel.
Step 3: Visit a Live Scan center with the Live Scan Request Form. THANK YOU!
Please pay for the Live Scan service yourself, save and submit the receipt for reimbursement.
Thank you everyone for your patience in this process. I know it's kinda a big thing, but we do need to do this in order to comply with law. We really appreciate everyone taking the time and energy to volunteer for our children and youth.
