Hi! I am Rebecca!

Since the end of 2019, when I returned from the Middle East, God has been leading me on an intentional journey of re-thinking and re-evaluating my views on missions, calling, faith, & my relationship with him.

Since Summer 2021, I have been in moving forward with Operation Mobilization (OM), an international missions organization that has a high value on cultural competency, empowering local leaders, & sharing Christ with those who don’t know him. As their mission statement puts it, OM desires “to see vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached.”

Through this process, God has been leading me to Heilbronn, Germany, where I will be serving migrants from Muslim backgrounds. There, I will join an intergenerational team to serve people groups from the Middle East & North Africa, who have come to Germany to seek asylum or work. This team practically helps with tasks- language studies, adjusting to a new country, translating documents - while building relationships & introducing Jesus those who are seeking.

With various migration trends and refugee crises in the world, God is bringing these people out of their homeland to encounter him. It's amazing to see that God has been weaving this story since I started studying German at age 14! I also hope to utilize my Arabic language skills from my time in the Middle East. As I migrate to Germany myself, I hope that God will use me as a vessel so that people can receive new life through the good news of Jesus Christ.

My commitment for this term is a minimum of 2 years (with the option to extend if God so leads). Please pray for my practical financial need of $3,500 monthly and $10,000 one-time support to allow me to be on the field.
